A contemporary Nyonya restaurant and cafe beside the Melaka River, pairing Peranakan flavours with polished modern presentation.
Contemporary Nyonya by the River
The ChuPu is a contemporary, upscale Nyonya restaurant and cafe at 104 Lorong Hang Jebat, beside the scenic Melaka River. Its name comes from the traditional Peranakan chupu, a ceramic jar used to hold birds’ nest soup and other delicacies during Nyonya weddings.
The kitchen brings Baba Nyonya flavours together with Western plating and premium ingredients, creating a polished dining experience in the heart of the heritage district.
