Timez Modern Heritage Hotel is an intimate Jonker Street boutique hotel with 15 individually designed rooms and suites inspired by Melaka's Chinese, Peranakan, British, Portuguese, and Dutch legacies.
A Modern Heritage Hotel on Jonker Street
Timez Modern Heritage Hotel Melaka is an intimate boutique hotel inside the core of Jonker Street. The property occupies a restored pre-war shophouse and interprets Melaka’s layered history through five design concepts: Chinese, Peranakan, British, Portuguese, and Dutch.
The hotel presents 15 individually designed rooms and suites rather than a uniform room block. That makes the specific room concept part of the experience, especially for couples and first-time visitors who want a stay that feels connected to Melaka’s architecture and culture.
Fifteen Individually Designed Rooms and Suites
Room concepts include Cherki, Manek, Little Nyonya, and Hundred Peonies in the Peranakan collection; Clip-Clop, Oriental Beauty, Lattice, and Screen Suite in the Chinese collection; Pop Art Suite, Victorian, and Union Jack in the British collection; Azulejos and Fortaleza Suite in the Portuguese collection; and Dutch Square and Kapit in the Dutch collection.
Room facilities include air conditioning, a coffee machine, safe, mini bar, ironing facilities, work desk, telephone, television, and Wi-Fi. Family-room availability and bed arrangements vary by category.
SuperRabbit Café and Heritage Walks
SuperRabbit Café is the hotel’s casual all-day dining outlet, open to staying and walk-in guests for breakfast meetings, lunch, coffee and cake, intimate dinners, and small private events. It gives the property a useful food-and-stay angle without requiring guests to leave Jonker Street for every meal.
Jonker Street Night Market, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the Baba Nyonya quarter, the Melaka River, the Stadthuys, A Famosa, and the main heritage museums are all close enough to combine on foot. The central location is excellent for sightseeing, but the surrounding street becomes busier on weekend evenings.
Booking and Practical Planning
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out by noon. A MYR4 heritage tax per room per night applies to all guests, while non-Malaysian guests also pay a MYR10 tourism tax. Cancellations less than seven days before arrival or no-shows may incur a one-night charge.
Parking, room access, bed layout, and breakfast inclusion vary by room category and rate.
