If you are in Melaka on 12 July, there is a rock show worth building your evening around. Wings, one of Malaysia’s best-known rock bands, brings its Sunday Night Live showcase to Hard Rock Cafe Melaka that night.
What is on
Frontman Datuk Awie has promised a different mood from the band’s Kuala Lumpur show a week earlier. Where the KL leg on 5 July leaned into hard rock, the Melaka set is billed as more “galau”, meaning slower, moodier songs. The band plays for about 90 minutes across roughly 20 songs, mixing career hits with new material from their latest album, Wings New Era.
The showcase is organised by Awie Entertainment, Hard Rock Cafe and RPM Label, built around promoting the new album and giving fans an early listen to fresh material.

Hard Rock Cafe Melaka is already a solid dinner stop in the Banda Hilir dining scene, and a live set from a band with decades of Malaysian rock hits gives visitors a reason to make a full night of it.
