If you’re driving to Klebang for the National Day weekend, here’s exactly where to catch your free ride in.
30 buses, 90 vans, 13 stops
The Melaka state government has confirmed 30 buses and 90 vans for free shuttle service across 29 to 31 August, running from 13 named pickup points into the Dataran Klebang event grounds. The fleet is meant to keep cars off the roads immediately around the site as crowds build for Melaka Berselawat, Ambang Merdeka and Hari Kebangsaan.
The 13 pickup points are:
- The Sail Gallery
- Residensi PR1MA
- Muzium Kapal Selam (the Submarine Museum)
- Dataran Klebang itself
- Pameran Kapal TLDM, where the Royal Malaysian Navy warships open for public boarding
- SMK Klebang Besar
- the grounds of Masjid Al Amininin
- the grounds of Courtyard by Marriott Melaka
- Kawasan Komersial Kota Bendahari
- the roadside near Eye On
- Kompleks Perniagaan Taman Limbongan Jaya
- Kompleks Perniagaan Taman Shahbandar
- Kompleks Perniagaan Taman Kota Laksamana, near the state’s new durian supermarket
