Driving an electric car to Melaka just got a little easier.
ChargeSini opened a new 120kW DC fast charger on 29 September at a BHPetrol station on Lebuh SPA. The highway is also known as the Sungai Udang to Paya Rumput to Ayer Keroh Highway.
Where it is
The charger sits on the westbound side of the highway, about 8km from the Ayer Keroh Toll Plaza. It stands in front of the BHP Mart, so you can grab a drink or a snack while the battery tops up.
What you need to know
- Power: 120kW DC.
- Connectors: two CCS2 nozzles.
- Price: RM1.49 per kWh, with a minimum charge of RM5.
- Idle fee: RM2 for every 5 minutes if your car stays plugged in more than 30 minutes after charging finishes.
- How to start: activate the charger through the ChargeSini app.
