Malaysia Heritage Studios is a cultural theme park in Ayer Keroh, just off the PLUS Highway route into Melaka. The attraction combines traditional Malaysian architecture, folklore, performances, and interactive photo spaces, making it a useful family alternative to Melaka’s city-centre museums.
What to See
The park’s signature experience is a walk through 13 traditional houses representing Malaysian states. The houses provide different architectural details and cultural settings, while the wider park adds themed displays, costumes, photo spots, and performances featuring characters from Malaysian legends. The Immortal Maze adds a darker, fantasy-led section with mythical creatures and theatrical sets.
Tickets and Timing
The park opens daily from 10am to 6pm, with last entry at 5pm. Adult admission is RM45 for Malaysian visitors and RM72 for international visitors; child, senior and OKU rates are separate. Online tickets are available, and the two-day advance purchase rule applies to visitors booking ahead.
Allow around three hours for a comfortable visit, especially if you want to combine the outdoor houses with the indoor maze and a performance. The mixed indoor and outdoor layout makes it more flexible than a fully open-air attraction in unsettled weather, though some walking between buildings is exposed.
