Melaka Botanical Garden is a 92.5-hectare nature park in Ayer Keroh, formerly known as the Ayer Keroh Recreational Forest. Its grounds combine landscaped gardens with forest paths, picnic areas, playgrounds and outdoor recreation close to Melaka Zoo, Skytrex and other family attractions.
Things to Do
Visitors come for walking, jogging, cycling, casual photography and relaxed family time. The wider garden area includes themed gardens, forest scenery and visitor facilities, while nearby attractions such as the Forestry Museum and Malaysia Book Village can add an educational stop to the day.
The main garden is open 24 hours, while individual facilities and concessions operate on their own schedules. Entry to the garden is free; rentals, museums and other facilities carry separate charges.
